Title: Issue with MS Outlook
Post by: Papyrus on May 27, 2025, 05:31:02 PM
Can anybody help me out with MS Outlook?

It's not really a problem, more an annoyance. For some reason, it has taken upon itself to attach 'The Bluebell Railway' to my email address, thus:

It's only an issue when I want to email something to myself, so that I can copy it from my phone to my laptop or vice versa. It still sends stuff to the right place, it's just irritating that it thinks I am a heritage railway. How can I change it or get rid of it?

Cheers,

Chris

Something somewhere has your e-mail address stored with that as the display name...
It could be any contact list that you have given outlook permission to access. That might be your Microsoft account or any other accounts you access through outlook, or the contacts on the device.

Thanks for your reply. I think I've found a way round it. At least, it's disappeared for now. I just wish I could work out how I did it.  :-\

Cheers,

Chris
