Title: Farewell to an old friend...
Post by: Adam1701D on July 12, 2012, 07:38:20 PM
...and sometime enemy.

After several years of mostly faithful service, I have decided to call it a day for my trusty Graphtec Craft Robo cutting machine. I have totally lost count about how many sheets of vinyl this must have chuntered through in it's long career. Thousands, certainly.

Recently, it has become increasingly unreliable, with problems reading the registration marks and an increase in returns.

The replacement will be an all new Silhouette Cameo cutter, which is feature packed and can cut sheets up to A3, which will be great for doing more OO coaches - don't complain...the OO stuff funds my N Gauge enjoyment!

A trusty tool is hard to replace. I have a gerber multitool which I've had for over ten years now. I would be lost without it....

I hope your new piece lives up to the reliability of the old one
