Title: Indignation Meeting
Post by: darve on November 15, 2024, 03:21:46 PM
(This could perhaps have gone in the 'what are you listening to?' thread, however..)

For fans of HALF MAN HALF BISCUIT and the like.

The new 'Indignation Meeting' album is out today - A MODEL WORLD:

Song titles include:
Model world
The fifth black five
Small Black shunter
LocoMotives.

All led (apparently) by a 15 year old kid from Leeds.

Currently listening whilst working and, whilst most possibly quite niche, it may be of interest to folks on here. This looks to be their second album, following 'Trouble in the shed' from last year.

Well that is certainly a bit different.

A bit of a steam punk enthusiast possibly  :D

The lyrics are quite clever or the ones I can make out are.
However I'm no great fan of punk style music so doubt I shall be pursuing this further.

Thanks for highlighting it though. Great fun.

And while we are on the subject there is also this lot :

Not really railway related lyrics but the band name is relevant and there are some railway bits in the video :

The girl needs to get her hand off the track as any train coming out of the tunnel and going downhill over that ski slope of a viaduct is gonna be going pretty quick.....!

Interesting class 70 at 1m 35s and also at the end. Looks nothing like any class 70 I have.
