Title: Hooray
Post by: port perran on July 06, 2012, 08:33:49 PM
After 8 weeks the layout is back.
My 6x3 layout (plus detachable fiddle yard) has been stored away under the bed whilst we have had a string of visitors.
Today, it's back up and running !!

You should have had it out for the visitors, spread the word of the hobby far and wide amongst old and young  :smiley-laughing:

Seriously though, bet it feels great to be able to put some hard work into it again whether finished or not

I had half my layout up a few weeks back to fit the last of the point motors, first time I've seen the scenic side since christmas I think! Sadly the ony place I can put the whole thing up is diagonally across the lounge, meaning you can't see the TV, you can't open the front door, and you can't access the stairs. You even have to duck under it to get to the kitchen for a cuppa! :-\

My own fault for wanting a 12' layout  ;)

Did all your visitors give up on our dreaded "Cornish Sunshine" and go home early?  ;D
