Title: BBC weather data problem 10.10.24
Post by: Newportnobby on October 10, 2024, 05:21:10 PM
You may have heard about this today, but at one point it seemed our area was due to have wind speeds of at least 5,300mph!

They seems to have it sorted now :)

Chicken Madras with Bombay aloo, pilau rice, a naan bread and some lime pickle :food:  :whiteflag:

I'm a bit late on parade to respond in a similar way to @Nbodger but after the curry I just had which I made myself it could get rather windy tonight. Mrs Trainfish reckons I may have been a little heavy handed with the finger chillis, home grown chillis, madras curry powder, hot paprika, turmeric, cumin, ginger, goram masala and maybe a few more which I have either forgotten about or didn't tell her about. I have a bag of Carolina reaper biltong in the cupboard and I have to say that's only a little hotter than my curry was  :o

And in true Facebook style, here it is. It doesn't have a name yet but depending on what happens overnight or in the morning I may have to make up a name for it as there's still 1 portion which has gone into the freezer for now. Suggestions on a postcard.............:

Why does Johnny Cash's 'Ring of fire' immediately spring to mind? :worried:

I still cant put pictures on here but the predicted wind speed for High Wycombe on the BBC was 5056 M P H.
Back to normal this morning with a prediction of 1 to 2 M P H.

Well, that was an 'interesting' night and morning. I need to work off some of the calories today so I'm off to the gym soon. Suffice to say I won't be wearing white shorts  :(
