Title: Union Mills Locos - stripping the paint
Post by: Doc Pye on October 08, 2024, 10:59:56 AM
Hi all,

Well it has been on the 'to do' list for ages but I am going to find time to strip the paint off my UM GWR locos and then give them a proper repaint...after some detailing. So my question for the hive mind is, what is the best way to strip the paint of the locos...IPA...Dettol...???

For those that have done likewise, please do share your experiences. After all, these UM locos are worth their weight in gold these days :laugh3:

Thanks in advance. Doc Pye
