Hi all,
well a little sorting prior to moving from Brimingham and I came across a box lost in the mass of nearly started and stalled kittery.
The 3 Sub looked a quick bit of fun.
Having cleaned out the thin film of resin from windows and fitted brass buffers along with subbing spare Mk1 bogies for the mtk/ fleetline resin lookalikes. I now have got three shells in green and chassis in black with 2 on wheels and third painted but unsused.
The question for the better than I club ( most of you) who has and how was yours motorised ?
As ever sorry no pics at this time.
Robert
Farish 101 / 108 motor block although sides needed thinning ( a lot ) never happy with it, yes it works but you need to be 10 foot and squint to make it look a good model.
Hi
Thanks for that, defo need thinnnning a lot.
yes model is squint grade for sure but doing it in early BR green with no yellow panel helps
Certainly a not a super quick model but fun trying to make it look ok and work

First time Ive looked at this in many years its even more orrible than I recalled. The glue for the solebars has expanded and the paintworks looks fogged possibly by the resin releasing vapours

I much prefer etched kits which are cheaper than Resin
