Hi

When I did mine I used the ModelMaster transfers that are available from the N Gauge Society MMT589

https://www.ngsjoin.com/br-1965-90s-freight-stock-decals-6259-p.asp

Unfortunately it would appear they are out of stock. The other option is Fox's  generic sheet but you need to make up your own number and possibly the TOPS code from individual items.

thanks paul

that's a shame no one makes a ready made sheet.

i don't really fancy trying to assemble my own data panels and numbers in n gauge with individual characters!  not sure my eye sight and patience is up to it!

cheers

Have you tried Cambridge Custom Transfers https://www.cctrans.org.uk/transfers.htm (https://www.cctrans.org.uk/transfers.htm)

Sheet BL198 may be of interest. A quick email to the proprietor Mr Isherwood will clarify what the sheet contains. Not sure if he covers the TOPS era.

Hi

He doesn't tend to, I believe most of the transfers are available due to his own projects.

Cheers

Given how small the lettering is when seen from a normal distance have you considered using 'other' wagon decals that look like the ones you need? eg the NGS does a set of decals for the Shark brake van which might be acceptable to you. Guess it depends how strictly accurate you want to be.
