I was browsing the other forum regarding the new tool 47s, it was mentioned in there that the older 47 shells and battery boxes are transferable to the new tool chassis, when they say older 47s I assume they mean the batch before these ones which are DCC ready and lights fitted? As opposed to the new Next18 ones?
My question is if the old shells fit the new chassis, do the new shells of the latest release fit the old chassis?
Would be much appreciated if anyone could confirm.

Yes, the new and older (dcc ready/lights etc) bodies are interchangeable. I have some of both and change them over as and when I want sound etc..
