Peco industrial tank engine kits? Whatever happened to them, the ones supposed to run on the Ibertan chassis?
It's been so long since I saw those, I never got a change to get any.
I found the N brass peckett, wandered if there were any more kits out there?

Hi -I've designed myself several Peckett and other industrial loco bodyshells for various other chasses. They're available from my online shop:

Shapeways is proving to have rather prohibitive prices for ordering just one model when factoring in shipping. Is it possible to have your models made elsewhere? For slightly different purposes I found https://www.3dprint-uk.co.uk/ and could get both done at once, if the quality is the same. I don't really know about the process other than I want the finest detail and no lines.

Yes, I sympathise about Shapeways' prices and shipping. I'd probably sell more models at lower prices. They serve the whole world from just two factories. Neither of those is in the UK so we suffer the effects of poor exchange rates and HMRC checks on imports since you-know-what-xit.
I do look around at UK suppliers from time-to-time. Here's how my latest loco body shapes up with 3D-UK:

Cheap, but the only materials they offer aren't what's needed for fine detail prints.
There are some discounts available from Shapeways next Monday and Tuesday, November 27-28: 15% off orders $50-$199 (Code 15CYBER2023) and 20% off orders over $200 (Code 20CYBER2023).
From time-to-time they also offer free shipping eg FREESHIP100 when the total value of products ordered (ex VAT) exceeds $100.
You have to be careful bulking up because when the value of your order (ex VAT but including Shipping cost) exceeds £135 then the courier (UPS) must collect the VAT for HMRC and will also charge you a fee for doing so.
My prints are niche items made to order in another country. If I'd gone down the route of printing my own, I wouldn't have the time or inclination to print copies for anyone else, so at least they are available to all, even if they are expensive compared to mass produced models. Sorry!
Mike
That's ok. I'll have a Cadbury/Colemans/Ford Pecket/Hunslett/industrial one day!
