Title: minitrix 89 into 2f dock tank

does anyone know if the chassis in this 89 will fit in the dock tank ?

I might be able to advise in a few days, I've got a cheapy 89 coming from ebay. Somehow I doubt it.

Nope, here's the 89 I bought and just arrived (nice little model actually :) ).  The chassis block in the 89 is at least 1mm wider, probably more.   Different motor and gearing arrangement in the 89, compared to the late 1960's chassis the Dock Tank used.

thanks for that--saved me buying one--even a cheapie--although the ones ive seen are £100+ !

This one cost me about £36 all in.  Unboxed but in nice condition (just a bit dusty) and it's the later version with blackened wheels and motion.
