Title: Graffiti transfers/ decals
Post by: 37214 on August 28, 2023, 04:19:50 PM
I am currently weathering some TPM Limpet wagons to make them all grimy and a little rusty and would like to add some graffiti to the sides as well. I've been looking online but can't find anything suitable for n-guage wagons. Railtec do some for 4mm and a few 2mm art style decals that are too big for my purposes, more suitable for coaches. Fox Transfers don't seem to do any at all.

Also tried ETSY and SHEIN but nothing suitable.

The sort of thing I'm after are "Tags", stylised writing. Anyone have any ideas?

I'd seen all those already and I think that they are all probably too big for a Limpet.

Thanks anyway  :)

I can't find the header card, but I'm pretty sure I got some graffiti transfers through BH Enterprises, though that was a few years ago.

I hadn't seen these as I was only looking at products in the UK; the n scale version might work with some of the smaller ones.

Thanks

Had not seen these as was focusing on UK products but they look like they are for carriages and buildings whereas I am looking for smaller decals to go on small Limpet spoil wagons.

Thank you for posting though, appreciate it

Limpets seem to mainly just have tags in white - get a Posca paint pen and draw them straight on. Not happy then wipe with a cotton bud.

Most of the decals look a bit 'flat' to my mind. Jo Alder's (Steadfast) ones are good though, but are based on actual prototypical wagons.
