Title: Royal Wedding Souvenirs
Post by: Adam1701D on March 25, 2011, 02:18:28 PM
So, what's the worst Royal Wedding momento you've seen so far. Is it the PECO Royal Wedding CDA China Clay hopper?

Or this....?

That is one definite advantage to being in the US.  It's easy to avoid news of the wedding!

Must just be me, I think as a commemorative piece it looks great and not in any way tacky, wouldn't mind betting there would be a market for that, especially state side, they love all that royalist crap , sorry, ephemera  ::)

They do love all that stuff here.  Probably is a big market for it.  Just not at my house.

though I would not buy any thing to do with the wedding, I wish them both the luck in the world, the only thing that will mess up the day is that old jug ears will be there >:(

It's become a bit of a commercial item too but I really like this one: "Thanks for the free day off"   :)

Well at least the Dapol offering is a little more subdued than that horrendous Peco one lol

Capt, I actually quite like that livery colour wise it would be quite striking..but I'll pass thanks :) Nice work though

I'll pass. On anything Royal Wedding related other than the street party I'm going to.
I wonder why Dapol chose a GPV? Do they expect fireworks or something?

This on the other hand... I agree... is too tacky. :o :-\  At least Lemondrop classifies it under Bizarre.  I thought it might have been an April Fool but the website link is for real!
