Title: Looking for a nameplate
Post by: Les1952 on July 23, 2023, 10:00:09 PM
I have a Farish A2 renumbered as 60526 TUDOR MINSTREL, heavily weathered as the prototype was York South pilot (Thunderbird in modern parlance) and cleaners didn't come that far from the shed.

It has now lost one of its nameplates.

247 Developments, Modelmaster and Fox do not list this nameplate.  I got the original from the NGS shop but there seems no way of getting nameplates from there either.

Can anyone suggest a source?

Les

Is it by any chance something one of our 3D experts could print for you, Les?

Would one of the transfer companies be an option? not ideal I know but some produce 3d transfers, thinkinhg Railtec and Precision Decals.

Second though, just checked Modelmaster and that number is listed.

Oops, looks like I have been beaten to it!!

Best wishes
Simon

Wrong identity- 60526 SUGAR PALM.

I've also got a 60528 but it is in Orribly Oversized and isn't missing a nameplate...
