Without sounding heartless i hope it stays, we are down there next weekend offroading in the Land Rovers so deep water is good for us! If it`s still that bad we will spend time driving round and helping though as part of the Response 4x4 Team :)
I have watched the news coverage and it is dire.
Those people on the caravan sites must have been terrified.
The clearing up afterwards with all the stench everything will be heartbreaking.
John.
It's appalling, Dave.
Sadly we seem to get too many weather extremes.
I'm constantly amazed that Lancastrians don't have webbed feet.
Eepp. I saw pictures of Talybont and the pub but I'd not realised how much Mach had received. Did the work at Dyfi junction to raise the track clear of tlooding work now it's finally been tested ?
I hope the poor old Corris is ok!
Though I'm in Holland I did hear about it on Radio 4. Is the Devil's Bridge railway affected?
Nice and sunny now like a summers day
Dovey junction is ok since the work you still get water but it dose not get over the rail any more .
And as far as I know corris is ok .
Not sure about the rail of rheidol I know the rd in Aberystwyth by there is under water .
Never seen it this bad :o
Wow, they're big floods! My garden gets flooded a lot, so I can understand the worry.
Also, I noticed that there seems to be a lot of spelling mistakes on the road signs.... ;) :smiley-laughing:
I hope there's not too much damage done but more importantly that no ones been badly hurt or died because of them.
