After an huge amount of trawling the net i eventualy found a loco another 37 so been running it in this afternoon i took some pictures and my first attempt at posting a video on you tube hopefully it all worked.

Thanks chaps i am tempted by the new releases best start saving! is it wrong to only have one class of loco?

37's certainly formed much of the traction at the end of nationalised railways and early privatisation. They were good reliable beasts and lighter than the 60/66s so could go anywhere. There would probably still be a lot more of them running today but for the fact that the engines are basically complete worn out (not just the fittings - the blocks the lot)

Thats true, it was a shame the re-engine project that they started with the 37/9 loco's came to nothing. Blame Ed Burkhart for that! :thumbsdown:
