I have been looking around and need some help, I am looking for a 4 or 5 road carriage shed, length wise it would be 7 or 8 coaches to hold a pair of EMUs (350, 321, 319) and possibly and HST or West Coast set (sticking out the end!).
Is there anything that is available to buy or is this a scratch build project? It would be based on the carriage shed at Victoria or Ramsgate as I like the look.

The carriage shed on James St is 8 coaches long. It is made from now rather elderly continental kits. There are photos on the James St thread or website.

The carriage shed on JS was originally to be used on an earlier South London layout that never got very far, and was built from four Heljan repair shed kits (I think). I now need to build another one, and having seen what is out there, I think I need to build one from scratch if I want to get the "Southern carriage shed" look. The excellent Evergreen corrugated styrene sheet should be good for the bulk of the exterior. I think it would need a solid inner layout to make it stable over its length (about 1.2m).

Looks like it would be quite simple to make from scratch - using Evergreen styrene sheet as Dave (Southerngooner) mentioned above.
If you're looking for a kit, the the two road Peco Manyways train/loco depot/engine shed (NB-80) would be where I'd start.

Weston Models would make one for you ,he can build any thing in any gauge ,he used to have a trade stand at exhibitions down South but as I am unable to get to exhibitions now I dont know if he is still doing shows and I cant find his details .

At just under £30 that's not a bad price for something hand built. I suspect a large carriage shed would be more like £50-£75 if you scale up the size, plus it depends on the amount of detail you want too.
I don't think it would be a difficult scratchbuild as it's mainly plain sides, open end, plain end and a roof with roof lights. If you want to go the whole hog you can add roof handrails, down pipes, etc. but it's a good start for scratch building I think. And a lot cheaper......

I know that Everard Junction is HO, but he scratch-built a carriage shed which looks mighty impressive (but probably over-engineered as far as the framework is concerned). You might get some ideas from that.
