If you're local you probably know about this already but with Currys in Brighton closing next week there are bargains to be had if there are any left..................

Just as an aside to the above, Argos are pulling out of Ireland in June with nearly 600 losing their jobs. It is not too bad for me personally, as if there is owt I want from them, I can go to Enniskillen in the north - sad news about the jobs though.
I didn't even know Currys were still going!!!
I think they trade as Currys PC World, but not sure.
The branch in Haywards Heath closed at the end of last year, to nobody's great regret. It's now the 'Francisco Lounge' (no, me neither...).
We'll all have to go to the giant store in Hove now to be talked down to by nerds.
Cheers,
Chris
Having been into a branch of currys recently I'm not surprised they are closing stores.
While buying a couple of bits I was told if I didn't take their insurance on the item.
I could only send the item to the manufacturers if it failed.
As I pointed out to them that's against the law, by law the contract is with the company selling the item not the manufacturers.
I won't be going back.
Is this really worthy of a forum thread?! ???
Well sort of... I fondly remember Curry adverts, and being at the Antipodes these days, there is nostalgic value. :beers:

Potential for bargains.
In the General Discussion section.
What more do you want? Just ignore it if you don't like it :P
What more do I want?! Where to start...
but yes, point taken.
