Very, very quiet on the Forum this morning in the UK. Just wondered, after recent events, if N gauge has been abandoned over here? ;) :)
I'm sure the TT chat will quieten down once we've had our say on the subject, and get back to playing with N :) I'm just waiting for my samples of Peco TT:120 track and points to arrive from Hattons :)
Well, I've had a foot in both camps for a little while now, but UPS tell me my N Gauge 3D print of a brand new, UK designed and built standard guage locomotive (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=57914.msg776918#msg776918) will be with me tomorrow, so I'll report on that then.
When I've identified a suitable 12mm gauge chassis, I shall probably be upscaling this model for TT:120. It will be interesting to compare take up.
Mike
No.
Whatever the perceived advantages (and I'm not sure there are any) I would not want to sign up to a world of model railways that is 95% dominated by Hornby. Despite Hornby's substantial planned investment in TT:120 it will still be decades before the range of locos and stock available in TT is close to the current range available in N. I can see how TT:120 could sell well as train sets but not sure how much potential there is beyond that.

Nah. I don't have the faintest interest in it and just ignore everything written about it
No. If I go anywhere it will be to scratch build in S scale, or larger still to O.
Sorry,
I just thought it was a bit odd that there was only one post after some from the USA/Oz around 4 am until I posted near lunchtime. Bit unusual. Please ignore the TT thing and don't discuss it as I just stuck that in for a joke.
Maybe lock thread.
Thanks, weave.

I think that might have been me. I hope I didn't send everyone into a catatonic comatose state  :beers:
It has been rather quiet on here today, for whatever reason, but it's felt quieter generally for a few weeks I'd have said. I generally assumed it was the summer downturn when people were doing other, non-railway related, things.
Has everyone UK gone TT?
Not me - whilst I don't drink as much as I used to, I do still like the occasional tipple :beers:
No.
It's just all the talk about TeeTee has made me very SleePee
John P
My brother has gone T , I think he will need counselling.

I don't think the Isle of Man is big enough for everyone in the UK to go all at once. The ferries would be pretty crowded as well.
