At the Bachmann Collectors Club outing to the Dean Forest Railway today, Bachmann announced new versions of the Class 08 shunter as Club Members' exclusive models in 00 gauge and N gauge.

The N versions DCC Ready/Sound fitted are:-

371-016K/371-016KSF Class 08 08818 "Molly" GBRF Europorte/HN Rail number 4

Interesting ... I already have 08 818 sound fitted but mine is BR Blue (Weathered). Not sure that even Rule 1 would permit both versions on the same layout. Bit too much like 'Life on Mars' so I'll pass on the new incarnation.

£145 for an 08, the world really has gone mad :o
