Title: Member: Keerout - Sad News.
Post by: Tank on July 25, 2022, 02:52:26 PM
Dear all,

It is with great sadness that I report to you with the news that @keerout (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=596)  has passed away.  Gerard was a helpful member, and I remember his many cheery posts and good sense of humour.  I see that he hadn't posted since April, but his daughter kindly messaged me and wanted you all to know.  He has been a member on here from our first year.

Rest In Peace Gerard.  All the best to your family.

Tank.

That is such sad news. Gerard and I used to exchange quite regular PMs and he always came across as a gentleman with not a malicious bone in his body. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I should have added that his daughter has the link to this thread, so she can read the messages.

Yes, obviously living where I do, I have never met the fellow, but I have enjoyed his posts over the years. As dannyboy says, it is always sad when we lose a member.

My sincerest condolences go to his family.
