Buy one of @Ozymandias (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=3534) 's restoration beauties to tide you over. He needs the money... (to buy more wrecks to restore  :D )

Cheers,

Chris

I think the Warships aren't far away.

In the meantime you could console yourself with one of the Dapol Hymeks due out in the next month.

Is there anything to back that up, Chris?

I have 3 x green ones (2 powered and 1 dummy, and a chromatic blue one thanks to you) so I think I have enough :)

You could get the Gresley coaches by investing in the Pines Express train pack,, along with 92220. With traction tyres of course.

I only have 4 x maroon Gresleys v 9 carmine/cream so am balancing things up a bit with the 3 maroons with different running numbers. Brucie bonus is the Buffet :)

I had my seven maroon Gresleys running behind Great Central today - very nice they looked too. I bought six including the buffet when they first came out and got a seventh later. The the seventh cost £25 new, a bargain when I look at today's prices.

They're only £27.54 now (Rails). Compare that to some of the eye watering prices out there!

Mick, you could combine this with your new car thread.

How about a Morgan ?

That's what I call "retail therapy".

Did the same myself last week - bought a NEW iphone  :)

Strange - I'm thinking of dragging myself into this century and getting a smart phone but I know sweet Fanny Adam about the bloody things :-[
Cars are much simpler.
