Title: Felt tip pens...
Post by: emjaybee on June 01, 2022, 04:10:27 PM
Simple question.

I'm looking for a decent set of felt tip pens for colouring the edges, exposed corners of card buildings.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Cheers!

When I was building the Metcalfe kits for Averingcliffe, I just used the ones obtainable from 'The Works'.

(Not trying to tell you what to do or owt like that, but don't forget to colour the window and door reveals as well  ;)).

Tell away David, doesn't hurt to be reminded of things from time to time.

I always do those before assembly  and do them from the back so if the pen slips any resultant mark is hidden when assembled

I learnt that the hard way as well! (That's why some of the houses on Averingcliffe had climbing plants on the walls.  ::)).

Ah yes, the old 'climbing plant' trick.

:smiley-laughing:

The joys of 'detailing' your models, it's amazing what you can cover when you need to.
