Article in the Graun today - usual mentions of Rod the Mod, Pete Waterman and Neil Young.

Bit more detail than the usual and a few more names on the list at least :)
Hi Steve,
Thanks for posting that .... A great article, and as zwilnik says, a few names I didn't realise had the same hobby as us
All best wishes
Kevin
:beers:
Thanks from me too. Guess these artistes needed a hobby to have private downtime from the limelight etc.
An interesting article, thanks for posting.
I wonder why some Hobbies/Leisure activities come in for mockery (e.g. model trains, Morris Dancing), yet others are more "acceptable".
There are a number of activities in the latter category which I regard as pointless, but that's no reason for me to mock them.
I'm much less bothered by the perception of some hobbies than by the comments by people who spend their lives just HAVING to find something to be faux-outraged about, such as the ones hating Rod the Mod for spending come of his money on his hobby rather than feeding starving children or giving all their wealth to UNICEF.
The Graun is good for that.
Interesting article.
Wasn't another famous model railway enthusiast Hermann Goering?

Cool article. Thanks for posting, Steve! :beers:
When the artists are young / new in the business, they keep their hobby quiet, so as not to seem "uncool"
