Title: Farish VGA 46t sliding wall van
Post by: kiwi1941 on May 09, 2012, 12:08:48 PM
Could someone please measure the length of a Farish 373-600 VGA 46T sliding wall van over the buffers - I want to calculate the space needed for a rake. TIA, Brian

Hi Brian,
What I tend to do is look on the Hatton website
http://www.hattons.co.uk/products/category-graham-farish-n-gauge (http://www.hattons.co.uk/products/category-graham-farish-n-gauge)

If you look up the 373-600B, click on the image and then check image 4 out of 5, they stand the wagon against a steel rule.
This capability on their site is quite handy at times

Well, I never noticed that before. Brilliant, thanks Nobby. Brian

Buffer to buffer is 93mm. I have a rake of five that measure 500mm in length.
