1.5t trailer with approx 2t horse manure. She slid 21 metres. If anyone would like to show me the equation for that I'd be interested to see it.

It's currently residing at the neighbouring farm where Dale will repair the drawbar. He is something of a whizz with metal and a welder. When not repairing farm machinery he also makes sets, stages for theatre productions.

To cap it all my back went out yesterday evening. So, y'know, could be better.

Awkward blighters, backs. Sometimes I just sneeze and my back goes out. Maybe it doesn't like the noise. Maybe yours wanted to go for a pint.
It does come back eventually and allows me to walk again but between those times it can be agony.
Usually a pinched/trapped nerve for which Ibuprofen is good, I find.

I feel for you. Backs are naughty blighters.
You really must stop dragging all that sh1t around with you.
Do what Elsa sings.

Let it go!

Yesterday felt like a Sunday for us. Lots of tidying, cleaning and stuff.
Today is going to be the same.
And you know what. That's rather good, as we all need down time.

Take care.
Bob

What's down time?

???

More to the point, when exactly do you have UP time? You're never at work!

:P

I have a virtual Conference all next week in Sardinia. I'm going to pretend by eating Pizza all week.

Jeez Michael! I can intimately empathise over back pain. I hope you get/make time to rest and relax today, at least.  :beers:

Oddly I'm more concerned about the trailer.

I put my back out once picking up a bottle of wine. I'm not sure if that counts as an incident directly related to alcohol.  :beers:

If it was a Nebuchadnezzar (15 litres) of champagne then, yes :D

This Saturday? about as good as yours..

First  filling a hole in the pantry where a mouse or two eat their way through the facia board then the ceiling to get in.. There was no wedge of mortar between the top of the wall and the pantiles.. There is now..

Then recovering broken drain rods and the scraper on the end, from the sewer pipe to the Septic tanks. The special tool for doing the job worked very well and found another old wooden one, I didn't know was down there. Unfortunately doing that my back went a bit..

After throwing the overalls in the wash and having a good wash myself , I took the Dog for his long walk.. Which wasn't long in distance but in time ... As about a 1/3 of the way round I stepped awkwardly on  the rough mud  and stone track and really put my back and left leg out of use, it was a very long slow hobble back on the shortest route home. The Dog kept coming back to me to see if I was OK..

The rest of the day was spent lying flat on my back.. The leg is better now but my back is still complaining.
