Title: New GF class 37 Snowplough
Post by: exmouthcraig on October 01, 2021, 09:05:04 PM
 :helpneededsign:

I'm very tempted by the latest GF class 37, but notice that the bogies have a moulded coupling box and the detail pack doesnt include a snow plough.

I'd like to detail the No. 1 end and would definitely want a plough so.........

1, can the bogie be adapted to allow full detail including a snow plough

2, can anyone recommend a decent looking 37 snowplough that will work

The new farish 37 I have from the highlander train set has a snow plough which I have fitted to one end. Just replaces the coupling.
Can grab some pictures if needed.
Although if this is the wrong version apologies

As regards getting hold of one, find the catalogue number(s) of the most recent ones which were supplied with them and email Bachmann - depending how long ago it was, they may have them available as spare parts.

You can fit the ploughs with modification, if you want to also retain the coupler - I've done this to a number of 37s as I want to retain freedom of operation, and have ploughs at both ends as per the prototype.

Cheers,
