Whilst at TINGS on Saturday I was admiring the wonderful looking samples of the new Class 47 locos in the display cabinet.

I am wanting another Colas liveried loco for Clifton Wood and when I saw that GF planned to release "Rebecca" I knew shed be the one to wait for rather then a pair of 37s.

The leaflet of the GF stand had their new 47s in it with also available on there as well. The only thing was Rebecca wasn't on this sheet. There was a COLAS Class 37 in the same display cabinet with "LIVERY SAMPLE"  beside it which I assumed to be for the new 47/7.

So although I should of asked the few on the stand what was going on I'm curious to know if they still intend to release this model or if she has been sidelined for a while???

Farish have two Colas liveried locos on their to-do list:

371-173 Class 37/5 37521
371-358A Class 60 60096 (+ sound fitted version 371-358ASF)
372-261 Class 47 47727 Rebecca

The 37 is marked up on the Bachmann website as an April/May release. The 60 and 47 are "Awaiting", whatever that means!

All three should arrive at some point. When that will be I wouldn't like to guess!

From memory, the display board in the glass cabinet behind the 47s on the turntable at Leamington featured the Colas 47. I remember looking at the artwork for that and the Virgin 47/8.

Hi Gang,

I seem to remember that the rehash of the 47 chassis to make it sound fitted has taken a back seat whilst the 60 is being worked on. I believe 47727 is still on the list, but pushed out to the right a little/bit/lot*.
