Title: Sad, sad, loss.
Post by: emjaybee on July 28, 2021, 09:20:03 PM
Just breaking,...

Dusty Hill of ZZ Top has passed away in his sleep at 72.

Gutted, absolutely gutted. Grew up with the Top, saw them live at Milton Keynes Bowl way back in the dim and distant past. An epic concert by an epic band who knew how to entertain anyone, even my late grandmother used to tap her foot along with them.

R.I.P. you legend.

:(

R.I.P. Dusty

Another of the Gigants of Rock has bitten the dust. Without him the world has become darker place. I first listened to them when they presented the Eliminator hot rod. And later started to like them.

sad news indeed !    Billy Gibbons will be lost.  Perhaps solace in the odd hot rod or three. or four !!

Very sad news indeed - the cornerstone of one of the great rock bands.  Was lucky enough to see them a few years ago and even in their 60s (at the time) they were still fantastic fun with great sound.
