Title: Thank you from RayAnnaRailways!
Post by: annabass on July 22, 2021, 07:51:12 PM
Hello all - just wanted to send a big thankyou to the NGF member who watched our layout in the recent virtual show, spotted a particular vehicle on the layout, and sent us a self-designed and home-built accessory for it!  What a lovely thing to find on the doormat this morning!  -- Anna and Ray :-) :-)

Cool!

You can't give us half a tale like that, we can't cope with mystery and intrigue, there's members on here with fragile ecosystems.

What was the vehicle, what was the accessory, oo, and a pic too!

P.s. Lurved your layout.

Oh and who sent it to you?

We're a nosey lot I'm afraid.

And, thank you for taking part. The show has been extremely well received both in the UK and further afield.

Cheers
Martin

I think Ray and Anna should give us a few days to rewatch and spot the vehicle before disclosing the answers.  :hmmm:

Anna and Ray are the people who got me into this mess in the first place :)

I saw a video of their debut outing of Ambleton Vale and couldn't believe it was "N" scale, I had no idea that the quality of the models had reached that stage, and the quality of their modelling was an eye-opener.

@rogerdB (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=6299) - they'll recognize a lot of "Wrenton" - they live in the next village over from Finchingfield.

Anna paints all the people on their layout including all the jockeys colours and on their new layout there is a Morris dancing troupe all painted by Anna she makes the buildings out of cereal boxes and weathers all the stock as well .
Ray and Anna are allso very tallented Folk singer / song writers ,they  used to be in a group called Two Coats Colder and they  got me back into Folk music which I used to enjoy many years ago at a very popular Club at  Turville .
