Title: Filler recommendation please
Post by: TrevL on July 01, 2021, 08:10:58 PM
Nowt to do with modelling.  I have a couple of pieces of white 3/4" pvc tubing which I've stuck together along their length with hot melt.
I'd like to fill the valley between the two tubes to smooth it off.  It needs to adhere to the pvc, but I'm not sure what I should use, any recommendations please?  TIA.

Hi Trev,

I have just done what seems to be a similar thing with some white pvc channel to make some drawer dividers to separate my paints and glues.

I used Deluxe Materials plastic putty, which I use quite a lot, and find fantastic stuff.

I scratched the surface where it went with a scalpel blade just to give a better surface for it to adhere to, but in all honesty I really don't think I needed to do that at all.

All best wishes

Kevin

:beers:

Car body filler should do the job.
