hi

will a farish coupling spring be ok to use on a dapol wagon?

i think the dapol springs are slightly longer so just wondering if they are interchangeable...

For T shank couplings I find the springs of different brands tend to be pretty much the same size, I happily mix and match replacement springs for Minitrix, Lima, Roco, Farish etc. with whatever is to hand. The springs are also often the same size as motor brush springs.

thanks.... I'll copy your mix and match approach then

i stupidly spray painted a chassis with the springs in place and the paint destroyed their springiness... anyway i have some farish springs i can use...

I'll try that! i dont know if they have lost their springiness integrity now though.
