QuoteTo Build a Large O Gauge Railway Kirkby Bank
I am a retired Telephone Engineer and have started this fund raising to help with the expenses of building Firstly a large Shed 5 Meters x 12 Meters and the cost of track work. The gauge of my Railway is O Gauge, That's 43 scale.
Your typical Hornby 00 railway is 76 Scale which is about half the size.
I would hope that anyone who is generous enough to donate could visit the layout. I have a Facebook Page and will hope to lunch a YouTube channel once building work of the Main Shed commenced.

Wow... I mean you can ask.
And he only has £5000 to go to reach his target :smiley-laughing:
I'm currently building a smaller (9m x 3.3m) shed for " Brickmakers Lane" and that's costing twice what he's asking, so how much does he expect to spend on the model itself......bizarre and rather brazen I think!
Of course if anyone wants to send me some money to continue building you are most welcome!
Dave
Bizarre!

If you send me your bank details I'll see what I can do. Oh, and don't foget to let me know your PIN number and password too
This reminds me of the time when my building society manager offered payments to nominated charities, I replied how do I get on the list of charities, he was not amused!
Gotta be kidding. I know what I feel like telling him, and it ain't nice
