hi
does anyone make mdv transfers? (for a vacuum brake fitted 21t mineral wagon)
i looked on fox and railtec but no joy.
if no one makes them i suppose i will just put mcv on them. i know its ridiculous as so small but if i can i like to add the right transfers.
cheers
tim
Fox do blank TOPS panels for you to add your own codes, weight and wagon number to. F2140 to F2143
Cambridge Custom Transfers do a sheet (BL2) which includes markings for 21T and 24.5T mineral wagons, but I suspect these are pre-TOPS.
The N Gauge Society transfers for Kit 19 (21t Mineral) contain MDO transfers:

There might be something suitable in the former Model Master Range that the NGS hold, but is currently in limbo whilst it moves to it's new keeper.

Hi, contact Steve at Railtec and ask if he will produce sheet 6943 in 2mm. he already does them in 4mm and 7mm scale. I would be interested if he did, heers Andy.
On a related topic what chassis are you using? The 21ton minerals on the market all seem to use the unfitted chassis.

This one possibly
MMT068 BR 21t&24½t Steel Mineral Wgns F&U (2608)
but until it, along with a load of other sheets, lands on the doorstep it's only a guess.
hi everyone
thanks for all the replies!
i was just going to paint a standard dapol 21t wagon so it wont have the correct chassis.
railtec dont have a contact form on their website to ask about the mdv transfers being made in n
i have ordered the ngs mdo transfers though.
not decided yet but i might try and splice mcv and mdo transfers to get mdo... if i have some spares incase it goes badly wrong!
will be interesting to see the full modelmaster range when ngs are selling them again.
cheers
