Is the 'Schools' class 'Brighton' a new one? I don't recall it from the first run.

These are all new ones I believe.
The original run was:
Repton
Wellington
Shrewsbury
Malvern
Merchant Taylors
St Lawrence (collectors club edition)
I know that Radley in wartime black was a request amongst others on the Dapol CC forum
I'm waiting for Wilnecote High School (Tamworth, Staffordshire).
:)
Still missing 30904 "Lancing". :(

I wonder if Captain Tom will be in the same consignment?
Stowe was another request on the Dapol chat but they haven't done that one. Interesting site here with the all (real world).

I enquired of Dapol at the beginning of February this year when Sir Tom was due and was told that they were expecting the artwork in February. So given how fast Dapol work at times I'd be surprised if we see the actual model before the autumn. I begin to wonder if they've missed the boat with Farish announcing collectors club Sir Toms.
I don't want to appear miserable but if Captain Tom doesn't get here until the second half of the year I might drop out of my pre order. The moment will have long gone.
I still have tremendous respect for Captain Tom and will give an equivalent donation to a good cause.
Remind me again how late the Gaugemaster 73's are? :(

It would be nice to hear from Dapol exactly what sequence items are in their notorious pipeline. They don't frequent their own forum and I'm starting to doubt if they even know the answer themselves ::)
Well ... the Terrier in Marsh umber is here, and I've got mine.
Delighted to find it's an A1 ... the one I repainted a while back is an A1X.
Pleased the Schools are coming after so many years in the pipeline.
The Fag Packet 125 was only announced last year. Feels like last month.
Feels like they are going for the easy wins.

And why shouldn't they?
Easy win = unfulfilled market demand = quick return on investment = ability to turn over working capital into the next project

Honestly I am very surprised if it has taken then this long for art work, as well I know GBRf are very media savvi and handing over the actual artwork for the paint shop would have been most likely offered immediately and having the actual artwork from GBRf means purely a case of scaling and deco sample.
So pass on what the delay is so far if it was a delay on waiting for the next 66 production run fair enough, but the art works are generally very forthcoming from operators!
Hi Gang,
I perhaps have to agree that the Captain Tom model may have been delayed so much that the newsworthiness around it has waned and may subsequently suppress demand.
I do have one on pre-order and an swayed as to whether I will continue. My current thought is yes, as it is a pivotal part of our history and will be discussed long after 2020.

Undoubtedly so. When we went into the first lockdown, I advised my pupils to keep a journal recording their thoughts, hopes and fears as events unfold around them.
"When your grandchildren are studying history, and come to their health and medicine module," I said, "they will learn about the Great Coronavirus Pandemic, and they may even come and ask you what is was like to live through it as part of an oral history project. When they do, you can pull that journal about and look through it with them, and it will be an invaluable resource."
I also thought it would keep them in good scholarly habits like, you know, actually WRITING things
Hi Gang,
Looking forward to receiving the Sleepers when they finally arrive. Most of mine are the retailer specials ordered through KMS railtech and fully paid for since I paid the ( sent in error) balance invoice. Sometimes, it is a great feeling to be waiting for a fully paid for model.
I may take the plunge and have a few odd main release sleepers too. Definitely need one or two IC livery for West Highland and internal Aberdeen sleeper.
