Title: Trainz Railway Simulator 2004
Post by: reuben28 on April 25, 2012, 10:55:20 PM
Hello All,

This may seem a bit of a strange question to be asking on an "n gauge" forum,
but what are the general "speed limits" on a single section of track and a double
section of track.

I would like to know this so that i can alter the "speed setting" for some of the
in-game routes.

Regards.

Reuben.

There is no 'general' speed limit. It depends on the line, the curvature and the infrastructure standards. It costs more to maintain track to higher speeds so the speeds are often set based upon the actual requirements and the limits imposed by things like curves.
