Title: Class 60 drive shaft dimensions
Post by: Dalteth on February 27, 2021, 04:14:34 PM
Hi all,

I've got a class 60 as part of a bulk lot of models and the only parts it seems to be missing are the drive shafts.

The problem I have is that because both are missing, I can't measure their size to source replacements!

Therefore if anyone has a Graham Farish Class 60 and could measure the drive shafts, I would be very grateful.

If specifics are needed, it is 60054 Charles Babbage a split chassis model ref. 371-354.

Thanks gents.  :thankyousign:

Phoning companies is often difficult as work keeps me very busy during most companies opening hours! Will have to see what I can do.

Can you line things up in the chassis block and at least get a rough idea of the length required?  Farish N Spares has got several lengths and styles to choose from on their web site, mostly under part prefix  B0170.  For £3.75 a pack you could just try two or three sizes which are around your estimated length?
