Hi everyone, another really newbie question from me: what era is the Engineers Olive Green livery on the NGS Queen Mary Brake Van?
Many thanks in anticipation of your shared wisdom

Possibly mid 60s this livery.
Thanks very much for the rapid reply crewearpley40, much obliged.

Hi BRMan you may wish to review http://igg.org.uk/rail/6-livy/br/9-br-dept.htm (http://igg.org.uk/rail/6-livy/br/9-br-dept.htm) so if one has a layout and your intended purchase a brake van may suit c 1965 / 66 maybe 67 onwards into the late 80s. Hope this was of help. Chris
My research has found that Olive engineers livery came in during 1963, but of course it would have taken a while to get repainting underway so the earlier liveries would still be seen during the 60s and 70s.
Olive green was introduced in 1967.
The NGS model is based on this picture dating to 1982:

This would put it in Eras 6, 7 and possibly lasting until era 8. (BR blue pre TOPS, BR blue TOPS & sectorisation eras)

Thanks to all the responders, your contributions are really appreciated and the links provide further food for thought and sources of inspiration, great for these cold, lockdown days!
Thank you very much.

A version with 'BRB Electrification' lettering has also recently been released:
