Light dusting early evening yesterday but it's pretty much all gone now :(
same down here, then frost overnight, now raining.
HB not happy, "I want snow" now sulking under dining room table
Faint signs in a few sheltered spots and car, smidgeon left in very shaded spot, but bright sun and no breeze.
Nothing here in our tropical paradise , but we are under a snow and ice warning for Wednesday into Thursday. I'll believe it when I see it...
Cheers,
Chris
We had a light coating in my part of Ireland yesterday afternoon and evening, but it is all gone now - just rain!
Not here, but the higher fells further inland are looking decidedly Alpine.
Snowing in Bristol as I type.
Quite heavy but not settling.

Nothing here just 45mph wind gusts but that's just normal.

That'll be the sprouts. :D
Had a tiny bit on the patio when I got up at lunchtime. Looked more like dandruff than snow. All gone now though.
Maybe an N gauge couple of feet up here on the dizzy heights of the Mendips, but it's pretty much all disappeared now.

All quiet on the eastern front so far, but Thursday's forecast is for snow and sleet showers here.
Woke up to about an inch and a half here in Urmston, Manchester - despite them forecasting that we would get rain and sleet, but no snow.
:smiley-laughing: err - Manchester = RAIN not SNOW
I'll have you know that one year, back in the 1990s, we had no rain at all for over 13 weeks and were officially the driest place in Europe!
Okay, okay, I'll admit it does rain a fair bit here normally. United Utilities tried to charge the Trafford Centre for drainage some years ago - which would have been a hefty bill, as the buildings and car parks can shed 10 tonnes of water per second in heavy rain! They didn't get far though, as it was owned by Peel Holdings and they pointed out that their rainwater discharge went into the Manchester Ship Canal ... which they also owned :D
@Newportnobby (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=264) I don't know if you missed it last night but, just as it started snowing here last evening there was a sudden hailstorm on the M6/M61 junction which turned the motorway into an ice rink. There were multiple crashes involving about 30 vehicles. Fortunately there were no serious injuries but both motorways were closed for several hours. I spent the evening idling my time on my PC where the window overlooks Junction 28 on the M6 and there were blue lights flashing past every few minutes. There was only a smattering of snow when I went to bed and mostly gone when I got up this morning.

I did hear the hail on my windows but knew nothing of the accidents, Ron.
Glad to hear no serious injuries were incurred.
No. :D
Checking every morning but nothing yet.
Been hoping for a white christmas for ages.
Actually, by Aussie summer standards, Christmas Day here was quite cold. Bealman had a coat on after lunch outside!
Nothing in Peterborough as of 0700 but a look at Railcam shows an absolute blizzard in Doncaster.
I had my G scale plough out yesterday. There are some things you just can't do in N.
Another dusting this morning although it's already melting away. To my mind, just 2-3cms would be nice, just to make the world look better rather than all the grey.
A few minutes of snow in Chichester this morning at 9.15, melted as soon as it landed though. Still it looks pretty grey to the south so maybe more to come..
But still nowt here ;)
Yesterday chez moi
This is after the snowplough had done its job.

Just a touch in the back garden. Gone by evening.
A bit more when I was working in Oslo. This fell overnight.

We had a little last evening (just enough to give a tiny dusting) and it has lingered this morning.
This is the view from our bedroom window as the sun rose earlier:

A light dusting here in Swindon this morning.
I have no idea if we had any in Devizes this morning. I didn't see this morning apart from the bit before I went to bed
About 1cm last night was all, and that's going fast.
@port perran (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=230) Very lovely pic, Martin

you'll need a hell of a lot of grippa rods to carpet that lot :-[
Didn't last long here, nearly gone already, hooray.
Yeah - total damp squib. Ceased 10 mins after I took the pic and has virtually all gone now :'(
No snow here but plenty of low cloud (it's been raining since Christmas Eve) and plenty of seagulls on the roof of covid shopping centre

At least the UFOs are still there to protect you
So they are! Didn't notice that when I took the pic, 10 mins ago! :beers:
Blame the VB. It must be good for something :confused1:
