We've done the Noch advent calendar in the past when junior was younger. We had the HO version. Expensive for what it is, but much more useful than little bits of chocolate inside the doors :D
25 december, the family all gathered around the calendar with anticipation to discover what delight hides behind that final door, the honour falls to gran, slowly she peels the cardboard apart to reveal

A bit of flashing lights up her Christmas.
I bought one a few years ago when Noch obviously had a glut of German policemen they wanted to get rid of. :(
I wasn't very impressed but the German modellers seem to like them as they usually sell out quickly.
Hi there,
I tried really hard to find N Gauge Christmas models, but found it so difficult :(
That's why I had to go to HOe for my Christmas Cracker.
There are quite a few buildings ( Christmas markets etc).... mainly from continental modellers, but so few figures. Santa is impossible to find.
What I found most frustrating was the figures were showing online, but when you got down to the shop they showed as "out of stock" or "on order awaiting delivery" .....when I phoned up, the shops were saying they've been awaiting delivery for 3 years >:D
All best wishes
Kevin
:beers:
The Christmas Fair on Averingcliffe last year had a Father Christmas. I can not remember just where he came from, (North Pole probably :hmmm:), but I will try and make some enquiries tomorrow with my procurement officer. (And see if I can remember where I got him from ;)).
