Title: Another legend lost, RIP Bobby Ball.
Post by: emjaybee on October 29, 2020, 10:13:38 AM
We've lost Bobby Ball, aged 76, another legend, another double act gone. I realise Cannon and Ball weren't everybody's taste, but they never failed to make me laugh. From the " Whippet?"...    ..."No, I bought it." sketch to the "I'm fillin' up." catchphrase he'll be sadly missed.

Rock on Bobby Ball.

Have you noticed with all the great comedy duos with a funny man and a straight man its nearly always the funny one that goes first

Cannon & Ball
Morecambe & Wise
The Two Ronnie's
Little & Large
Hale & Pace
Oliver & Hardy

To name but a few

Perhaps you can die laughing after all

Must be thinking of another duet then. Thought I read some time ago Hale had passed, unless it's tomorrow, then you read it here first.

How spooky would that be.

And yes I meant Laurel and Hardy. Read my signature
