Hi all
A quick question I hope
According to https://www.bachmann.co.uk/product/category/161/class-55-%27deltic%27-d9009-%27alycidon%27-br-two-tone-green-%28syp%29/371-285a (https://www.bachmann.co.uk/product/category/161/class-55-%27deltic%27-d9009-%27alycidon%27-br-two-tone-green-%28syp%29/371-285a)
The new release of their Class 55 Deltic Alycidon has a "Driver Figure Fitted"
Just got mine from Rails and there is no driver fitted or in the accessory bag
Should there be a driver or did Bachmann just copy and paste the details from the OO Version ?
Their site also says it has sprung buffers as well which it does not
Thanks for any input on this
Paul
Certainly reads like they've copied the OO gauge blurb. I note the 66 also says it includes a driver figure, which they certainly never have previously. The 37 also says "directional and cab lights", which it doesn't have, so I'd take any of their specs with a pinch of salt. As you identify it certainly doesn't have sprung buffers.
Thanks
I contacted Bachmann and they did quickly (within a couple of hours) confirm the error in the listing, they had as suspected copied the info from the OO version, so no driver and no sprung buffers.
NGM
Trivial to fit - just lift the body off and the cab interiors are part of the chassis, not the body.
Cheers,
Alan
