They might beniminated for the "stupiest imposters"
For the darwinian award one has to actively try to remove himself from the gene-pool... And this cannot be said to apply to this group

... and without passing on one's genes - so with kiddies in tow it's likely that they failed on that part as well.

Many years ago, a local idiot robbed the local sub-postoffice at knifepoint. They handed over the money, he ran, then they called the police and named him. He"d used a balaclava, but they'd recognised his voice, mannerisms and eyes ... because he collected his unemployment benefit at that office, every fortnight and used the shop regularly!

Not quite as stupid as the one who tried to hold up a diner in Phoenix with a revolver - having completely failed to notice three marked police cruisers parked outside and the six uniformed occupants inside. He didn't live to try again.
