Title: Gift Ideas for the Railway Modeller/Enthusiast
Post by: RailGooner on September 17, 2020, 04:00:00 PM
Just came across this and decided I need one for Xmas!
     https://www.amazon.co.uk/railway-enthusiast-locomotive-hardwood-expecting/dp/B06W9LV5LG/ref=sr_1_32?dchild=1&keywords=n+gauge&qid=1600249622&sr=8-32 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/railway-enthusiast-locomotive-hardwood-expecting/dp/B06W9LV5LG/ref=sr_1_32?dchild=1&keywords=n+gauge&qid=1600249622&sr=8-32)

Then I thought, why doesn't someone start a thread on gift ideas for the railway modeller/enthusiast.

ADDIT: Looking closer it's rather steep for what you get, so I'll not be wanting one for Xmas.

I thought the entire forum was about gift ideas for the model railway enthusiast.  :D

I send my kids a Christmas list every year  :bounce:

Can't have them buying me a kettle by mistake.

For several years now I've had my relatives trained to get me vouchers for birthdays/Christmas for my preferred model emporium :D
Drat - I mentioned the 'C' word in September

As  Mick says a gift voucher on Rails or Hattons or other emporium of your choice, with a minimum of three zeroes after the first digit

But that could be just £10.00.
New directive - no decimal points!
I've always used Rails. Just as well as Hattons have lost Bachmann ::)

Becks gets sent the updated N Gauge spreadsheet, really desirable stuff is usually in bold and highlighted - I'm helpful like that.... ;)
