Is there any difference in size between the two?
I don't believe so, I think the Super GUVs were simply converted from original GUVs with the doors and windows removed and repalced with roller shutters.
This isn't N (sorry it's OO) but the picture illustrates the point well.

Great, just what I wanted to hear. I have just ordered some vinyl overlays in Network Rail colours from Chriscode 3s.
The overlays are to convert the Super GUV/GUV, to a Generator Van.
He does loads of great overlays in N Gauge. Vehs, coaches, loco's.
Thanks for the reply.

Beat me to it! :D
To re-iterate what is said in that other thread, Super GUVs had Commonwealth as opposed to Mk 1 bogies, see below...

The end doors were also removed/plated over.

Sorry, but that's a modified BG and not a GUV - GUVs had flat sides and no central door for a guard.

Yes unfortunately I was at work and realised. https://images.app.goo.gl/GoNHzESvgW1v5pUy5 (https://images.app.goo.gl/GoNHzESvgW1v5pUy5) Neil, converting a guv maybe an option. That coach i last posted could be a useful addition to Stuart's fleet was my point and bear in mind ive been on call out since 6am
