Title: Switch from OO to N
Post by: VelmaDinkley on July 23, 2020, 02:31:14 PM
Hello!

I would like to make a jump from OO Gauge to N-Gauge because OO turned out to be much bigger than I anticipated. I have Western Messenger, Olympic Javelin and SMokey Joe plus A, B and C track packs. How much would I get for it and how much do I have to invest to be able to afford N-Gauge of adequate layout?

You will need to be more specific! What one person considers adequate could be totally inadequate for someone else. And we need to know what country and era (steam, diesel, electric etc.) you want to model.

Welcome aboard. It would also help to know how much space you have, what may be adequate for a table top layout would not be so for a garage or attic.

Hi VelmaDinkley and welcome to the forum. OO gauge is 4 times the volume of n gauge, but, as has been said, what is adequate for one person could be inadequate for another. More details would be required to give you any meaningful advice.
