Hi Nick,

Yup, great tune. I grew up listening to ELO and Jeff Lyne's influence comes through on a few of the tracks.

Hi Nick,

When I found the wonders of the 'net and Ebay I bought a lot of ELO stuff. Just had a browse through my records and found the following, among others.

Albums
Showdown - pinky mauve
On a third day - clear
Eldorado - yellow
Face the music - green
A new world record - red
Out of the blue - blue

12"
It's a living thing - demo - blue
Sweet talking woman - purple
Shine a little love - white
Wild west hero - yellow
Ticket to the moon - pic disc

10"
All over the world - blue
Xanadu - pink :o

7"
Sweet talking woman - purple
Mr blue sky - blue
Living thing - blue

There's also Secret measages in 7 and 12" pic disc which I don't hav yet. There are probably others as well.

Must get myself a record player.

Hi Nick,

Yes, the Showdown album is Dutch. It's a Master of Rock album on the Harvest label.

I have various import albums and singles. I also have all three box sets. In one of them I found 2 LPs by the Move. Also been told that a black 7" of Mr Blue Sky was harder to find than the blue vinyl.

Have to look out for Wild west hero in white.

Hi Nick,

Very interesting. I've a number of imports and some demos.

I looked through my 7" vinyl yesterday. I don't have Lining thing in Blue but I have 3 in green, including a demo. I also have the 7" secret messages pic disc.

I found out that A new world record was also done in blue vinyl.

No....I am not buying anymore vinyl. I have enough problems trying to fund my trains. :smiley-laughing:

Hi  Alex

Yes i   dont collect  vinyl   anymore for a couple of reasons ....

1.   Dont have a record player now   ::)

2.  Spend the money like you on  railroads far better  :smiley-laughing:
