Title: Too Good to be True
Post by: David Asquith on March 14, 2020, 06:19:16 PM
Took me longer to find where to post this than it took to type it.  Hope it's ok here.

I have been browsing the web looking for a new Class 43 set.  I came across this

https://www.makeandbelievemagazine.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10463. (https://www.makeandbelievemagazine.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=10463.)

First of all my jaw dropped at the price.  I then thought that it was too good to be true.  When I saw the TMC logo on it I immediately thought it must be a scam.  What do you think?  I have informed TMC.

Dave

I moved along quicker than my Farish Voyager.  I know.  That´s not difficult.

I came upon this website a couple of weeks ago.

Agreed - its in the "too good to be true" category.

I had to tear myself away from it and give myself a good talking to!  :worried:

Alec.

Perhaps someone should tell them how small the N gauge market is.... and to focus on OO. Many more gullible people there :)

Not sure about the "Make and Believe Magazine". Maybe just drop the 'and' bit ::)
