Hi all,
Firstly @Tank (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=2) and the MOD team I hope you don't mind me posting this here if there is an issue please take it down!
So yesterday on Arrival at work one of our services had been involved in a fatality, I shan't be going into detail with the what where or whens as that not appropriate or the point. But in the 3 months I have been in this new career there have been numerous fatalities involving our trains where people have felt no choice but to take their own life.
While thing can be tough, please get the message out there that there is people who can listen, help and signpost you in the right direction.

No matter how big or small the Samaritans are available 24/7 on 116 123, its free and confidential, so if its a chat or some direction they are there and it doesn't just have to be about you it could be about someone you are concerned for.
Also for those that are as interested in real trains just as much as models please please keep an eye out, if you are concerned about someone you see on your trails please contact rail staff or call the emergency services. While it could be a false alarm and cause delays who really cares when it could potentially save a life
TFL ( aka London Transport) run a special counselling service foe drivers/ staff who experience a "one under" incident.
This should roll into action on the same day and has been very useful in my experience.
I met a train driver at one of these incidents. He was totally and very obviously very shook up by the incident. He said he wasn´t going to be driving any more trains as this was the third one he had been involved in. Where I say involved in maybe I should have said victim of.
