Title: New Passport
Post by: joe cassidy on January 31, 2020, 11:11:49 AM
I just received my new UK passport.

There's a picture of Stephenson's Rocket on page 14, and pictures of the London Underground on pages 18 & 19.

Is there a railfan in the passport office ?

the way it's going, they'll be lucky to be able to afford a handcart  >:D

heavens knows how many millions spent so far, to produce what look like two holes in the ground ...

mind you, no doubt all the 'consultancy' companies have made a killing. :censored:

I too had to renew my passport. Still the same as the old one, but the words European Union are missing from the cover. So now I will have to join the immense non EU queues at passport control.

Are you talking about 'Westerns' or passports?

If they're blue, I want mine with full yellow ends!

Allegedly you can use the EU queue until December and then probably not but possibly depending on any deals.

I (along with the rest of my planeload) was shuffled off to an unfamiliar area of passport control at Alicante airport yesterday. I don't know if this is anything to do with Britain's new found 'independence' or it might just be a coincidence.

I want a new blue passport but my europuce coloured one still has 8 years to run :'(
